🎂 My favorite color is spiceberry purple.

🎂 When I was younger my favorite colors was red, black, and white.

🎂 I hate soft pink color, but not hot pink.

🎂 I hate green beans.

🎂 I don't like corn on the cob.

🎂 I don't like sweet potato pie or pumpkin pie. 

🎂 I taught myself how to ride a bike when I was a kid.

🎂 I am shy person until I get to know people.

🎂 My favorite flowers are purple and white lilies and cherry blossoms.

🎂 I love dancing, but not in front of people. I enjoy it as an exercise.

🎂 Some of my favorite food: I love fajitas, tacos, tostadas, pizza, pancakes, lasagna, ravioli, fried chicken tenders/chicken, poppers, fries, enchiladas, fried fish, bacon cheese burgers, wraps/sandwiches, banana nut cereal/captain crunch krave, BBQ, and nachos.

Legacy Origin

Hello beautiful people,

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful Friday. I thought I should give a teaser of Rise Of The Legacy. Below is the origin story.

Excerpt from Rise Of The Legacy: The Origin Story.

Azalea Larkspur fell in love with the purest human soul on planet Earth Oriyon Vanhorn. After giving birth to Odin she felt he would need a wife when he got older. So she took an essence from Odin's soul spirit and heart, two ribs, and soil from the heavenly realm of A share and created his wife Freya. When Freya and Odin got older they gave birth to a baby girl Heva Esimina Vanhorn. Before giving birth to Heva, Azalea told Odin and Freya they are not to step outside of Asgard during the duration of Freya's pregnancy or drink nectar of wisdom from Nectar Falls in Asgard. Odin and Freya left the Garden of Paradise in Asgard and went into the human world to the beautiful island known as Valhalla. When they returned to Asgard they were tired and thirsty they drank from the nectar. Azalea was angry and banished them to Valhalla for 343 years. Heva inherited all of Azalea powers that was passed down through Odin and Freya, but the next 5 children would only inherit one powerful element they will be known as the Valkyries. After Odin and Freya's earthly sentence they returned to Asgard. Heva was to rule over the Valkyrie descendants.

The Writing Rituals Tag

Hello Lovely People,

Good morning, I hope you all are having a lovely morning day and kicking the weekend off to a great start. You guys know how I love writing tags and book tags, and I created one myself not too long ago Liscense To Spill Author Confession writing tag, so it's not surprising that I decided to do the tag that Kim Chance and Mandi Lynn came up with.

Writing Rituals Tag

1. When do you write?

• I usually write at night.

2. How do you seclude yourself from the outside world?

• I usually put on headphones and listen to film score playlist, but I am thinking of creating a film score playlist that suits the tone of each current WIP.

3. How do you review what you wrote the previous day?

• I edit as I go most of the time, but every couple of chapters Reread what I've written. I decided not too long ago that I would use track changes make notes and go back and edit later and color the flaw in that area, but continue writing that way it will be easier to edit later.

4. What is your go to song when you are feeling uninspired?

• 'Up'- Star Darlings, Rise Up - Andra Day, 'Reach For Your Drams' - Photoronique, 'Blessed and Unstoppable' - Billy Alsbrooks

5.What do you do when  you find yourself struggling with writer's block?

• Step back and do some reading, research, take a small break, meditate, and go back to it with fresh eyes, and pray that what I need to make the story will come to me as I write.

6. What tools do you use when when writing? 

• Word and sometimes my notebook journal where I took notes and/or print outs of my outline, character profiles, research/story info.

7. What's the one thing you can't live without during writing sessions?

• When I can do it I will have a small snack bowl full of snacks I like for when I take breaks, but now its whatever I choose to eat during breaks.

8. How do you know when you're done writing?

• Tough to answer, but I guess when I express and execute the significance well and I feel like I done all I wanted and planned for that story. I feel the significance you want come across to the reader is one of the most important aspects when writing a story.

The Status Report!!!

Hello Lovely People,

I hope you are making a splash into the weekend. It has been a little while since my last post. I have been a busy little bee working on my book Rise Of The Legacy. Looking for editors for ROTL and LH. I also been looking for beta readers and doing some personal edits and making sure I don't have any plot holes. I am still in the editing phase of ROTL. I had an inspire idea not too long ago about 'world-crossing' setting so they work for several book series so I have been tweaking the ROTL, POAH, and Eden. Later down the line I will at some point do a series and the MCs will be Alyssa twin sisters  and another maybe MC being Yvonne's twin brother as of right now its just idea for two spin off series that's not in development. I have been working on my Two Books One Goal Campaign. I have also been deciding which book projects out of my open and new projects I want for self-publishing and which projects I want to go into traditional publishing with. Speaking of which I have created a new page on my website, Book Projects Status Report so you don't always have to refer to the FAQs plus I color coded the projects so you can know the status in real time. I thought it be a fun way to know the status of current and upcoming projects. Easy updates...simplifying the latest update with the BPSR (Book Projects Status Report), so I hope you enjoy. Bonjour You Lovely Beauties!!!

I hope you all kicking your weekend to wonderful start! You know how I just ah-dore writings I create my own original writing tag, #LicenseToSpillAuthorConfession not too long ago inspired by writing tags I participated in and sorta of a belated valentine's day present to all the writer's that have been kind, sweet, and supportive. ABOUT THE WRITERS:

What draws you to YA?

I have always loved YA fiction mainly because it has just enough of adult and just enough of teen, but most of all I love the coming of age element that is in most if not all YA.

Describe your writing process. Do you like outlines and structure, or seeing where the story takes you?

I am a half and half I do basic outline and structure and then afterwards I see where the story takes me and refer back to the outline.

How long have you been writing? Where are you in your journey?

If you count book writing about 7 or 8 years if you saying forms of writing then quite awhile I did alot of poems and songs when I was in middle school about 5th or 6th grade.

I am currently crowdfunding to promote and publish the revamping of my debut YA fantasy fiction novel Rise Of The Legacy (formerly Entrapment) in the Valhalla Legacy series and my anthology Lyrical Heart (formerly Rhythm Of The Garden) on GoFundMe. I am also currently working on outlines for my next two book projects. I am trying to figure which book projects outside of the Valhalla Legacy series is the best to break into traditional publishing with and when would be the best time to break into traditional publishing. I know for sure I want the Society Girls series and The Dragon's Assassin series to be under traditional publishing.

 What do you need to write? Coffee? Music?

I need a great film music score that is atleast 4-6 hours because that's about as much time I spend on writing in a single day although sometimes longer. 

If you could offer one piece of advice to another writer (OTHER THAN “don’t give up”), what would it be?

Ignore naysayers and never limit yourself when it comes to the writing process or dealing with your writing career.

What book still has you reeling from its plot twist? (*no spoilers please*)

Well I just finished reading Sarah J Maas's Throne of Glass all I can say is she has been added to my auto-buy list and I will buy the whole series I am in love with this series. I've been bitten by the book love bug...lol 😍

What books are you most anticipating for this year?

The rest of the Throne of Glass series  & A Court of Thorn and Roses by Sarah J Maas,  The White Rose by Amy Ewing,  Shadow & Bone of the Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo.

In your opinion, which YA book/series has the most unique premise?

Maureen McGowan Twisted Tales: Cinderella Ninja Warrior and Sleeping Beauty Vampire Slayer I thought was fascinating I also loved that in these two books the reader chooses how the story ends never seen that done before in a book series it made the book fun and interesting. Cinderella being a ninja and Sleepy Beauty being a slayer that idea has my kind of fun written all over it I love good twists on classic fairy tales.😊

What is your all-time favorite quote from YA lit?

Sarah J Maas's Throne of Glass series, Gallagher Girls series By Ally Carter, Oh. My. Gods series by Tera Lynn Childs, but I actually wish TLC's book series Oh.My.Gods was a TV Show.

Grateful Heart!

Dear Beautiful People ,

I decided to do another bonus post this week it was truly spontaneous. To all the people that have supported me in the past and still support me today I thank you so much it means alot to me as I did with my heal from the bitterness in my heart and the skeletons of my past. To the enemies that throw shade and the one's that pretended I thank you as well because you showed who I was, who I am, and who I do not wish to be, and I am stronger because of it. I am owning own my faults. So to those I truly care about and hurt without realizing it I apologize for that. To ex boyfriends and friends that I took for granted without realizing it because I was too wrapped up in my own things I apologize. I do cherish my friends and the people I love and eventhough I am loyal to a fault sometimes I fall short to actually show and/or express that I apologize for that. Sometimes I get mad jump to conclusions and have no filter when I am angry and pushed pass my breaking point. To the people that deserve the words because you said something in sensitive to me first I do not apologize because you were purposely provoking me and got what you deserve. Sometimes I will hold back when I know you are intentionally doing it but if you push too far I will not care what come out of my mouth next. So if you don't want to be hurt by something I say do not provoke me because I bite back.Remember the people that are meant to stay in your life they will if they leave and return that means that person may have been meant when they are ready, but not everyone is meant to leave and comeback.  I love everyone, but I only cherish and loyal to people I care about. I grateful to everyone I have come across weather I met you online or real life because I gained an experienced I either learn from you or you was a blessing so thank you, thank you, thank you. 💖💗😇😊

Echo’s roar in the air
The skies cry in agony
of havoc
Winds growl out the somber
of yesterday’s past.
The seas glares at the quite voices
seeping through the earth
Death ascends in all relish of the works
She descends tremors feel her womb
The seed of the new creation mother earth becomes
undone.
The whispers of the past seeps into the falling of her works are
Foretold before thine eyes
The earth floods in her tears of blood.

Nothing To Do With Me! Own It Babe!

Hello Beautiful People,

I hope you motha suckers are great...lol.  Every now and then I may surprise you and do rapid blogs. I  am a person that let people slide with the what they say regarding me and I would actually laugh at them because I see them more clearly than they think they see me. People know me as the good girl, honest, nice/friendly, goofy, and a little mischievous.  For a good part of me that is 100% true...let just say the other side of my personality is not nice. I become cold, calculative, and venomous.  I refuse to let people that do so little for me control my actions and emotion and let the dark side of my personality that I like to call the lioness-Cheshire cat come to surface it has been retired for awhile and I plan to keep it that. Karma will be your just desserts. Lovely enemies and frenemies. I choose happiness and I only want people in my near vicinity that care about my happiness.

This song was written awhile back to address enemies and frenemies and it would perfectly in my book Lyrical Heart

Hello Lovely People,

I hope everyone is having a beautiful day. I wrote this song it came to me out of nowhere when I was in the shower and it kept flowing when I got out as I started writing. Somewhere deep inside me I have a feeling this song has always been inside me though. I had forgot the power that flowed through me that I could use in away I never thought of before. After all the things I have been dealing with the past couple months. There are many ways to use the power that you have. I hope you  all that are discouraged never for get that power. I think it why this song was meant to be in Lyrical Heart which will be released soon that is why I am doing mini excerpts every Monday.

The Lovely Dr. Maya Angelou!

Hello lovely people,

It is the last day of black history month and I won't to give honor to one of my favorite black writers.
 My favorite poems by her are "Touched By An Angel", "Still I Rise" , and "Phenomenal Woman". These poems spoke volumes to me with every line. My first year at my Alma Mater she came to my school, TWU. She had overcame alot and inspired many in her life time. Dr. Maya Angelou was a courageous civil rights activist, poet, prolific scholar, educator, actress, producer, director,  historian and bestselling author. She accomplished alot in her lifetime.  She was truly a phenomenal woman of our time. In 2014 I wrote the poem "Tapestry of Effortless Grace" to honor the amazing woman she is.  So I would like to share this poem with you today.

Beloved Dr Maya Angelou

April 4, 1928 - May 28, 2014

TAPESTRY OF EFFORTLESS GRACE

Roots of prosperity stained with
the rain of blood flooded in sin
Fertilized by temptation
wrapped in the cloth of deceit
of man.

The mustard seed that sows mercy and reaps
a faith clouded by darkness embodiment of rejections
leaving fear in its quake
Resulting rebirth in its make.

Mocked by the shadows of its past
Surrendering to the vast
Fooled by judgment of social class.

Almighty ignites fire of
courage that burns bright
in the faith in the mind is it wielding
the strength of the heart's wisdom.

A beauty that has no color
