Bonus Blog Post!! 

Before the year is  over I would like to do something fun related to characters!  I would like to give a warm shout to one of my favorite authors Jenna Moreci for creating this character writing tag. She  has made a big splash in the literary industry with her debut novel Eve: The Awakening. I love this book. I expect great things from her. I am excited about her new novel she currently working on, The Saviors Champion. With that being so I hope you enjoy my holiday character writing tag.

Synopsis: Sasha Kensington, Jane Wineheart, Yvonne Ames, Yasmine Wassen, and Alyssa Rivera. These five girls are chosen as the new protectors of earth. They are the next generation of warrior guardians. Their knowledge of their powers was sealed away from them. Now they embark on journey of self-discovery and their legacy. Rise of the Legacy! New Title!

Hello Lovely People,

I hope you all are enjoying the holidays. I seriously want some gingerbread cookies and egg nog I hope I get it before the holidays are over with. It's my favorite thing to eat and drink around Christmas and New Years besides s'mores and hot cocoa. I love watching Christmas movies and sweet Christmas romance movies around this time of year.  I love some of the ones they have on hallmark. I love the beauty and happiness of this season and time of year.

In other news I have been weighing the decision to change the title of Entrapment for a few months now. I was really scared about making this decision and the decision to relaunch Entrapment. I did some research on it and starting my own imprint. I had to make sure that what I am doing is the best decision I could make. My long term goals included being a hybrid author and helping, supporting, and connecting with other authors. My long term dream is being an international best-selling author. My short term goals included finishing open book projects and the Valhalla Legacy Series. Now I feel at ease. I am not uneasy about the decision to relaunch Entrapment or give it a new title. I think the risk is worth it.

*drum roll*

Formally Entrapment the new title is Rise of the Legacy. I am so excited about this I believe relaunching Entrapment and changing the title will be one of the best decisions I ever made. As of right now the Valhalla Legacy series will be a trilogy, but that may change, but as of now it being a trilogy is looking permanent.


Although I am currently fantasy fiction author I have always loved fantasy, Greek mythology, Victorian era, mystery/suspense, and sci-fi. Now I am loving fantasy romance/dystopian romance. I think I will explore all genres of fiction in my writing career. I also have one unfinished sci-fi novel and fantasy romance that are current open projects. So we will see where those lead.

My Writing Beginnings

Hello Lovely People,


Good Morning/Afternoon,

I hope everyone is well and kicking the weekend off to a good start. I am celebrating my 27th birthday this weekend. Three weeks late I know, but I plan to enjoy it. I am going out to eat and having a mini spa day by getting mani, pedi, and maybe a facial. In other news today I will be talking about my writing beginnings. When I was young I wrote songs, poems, and quotes that was my thing as a kid I think it started around 4th and 5th grade. The quotes was inspired by a teacher writing quotes on the board everyday to inspire us. Before I wanted to write very seriously and before I ever finished Entrapment. I wrote stories for contest and fun on figment website.😊

Many of the things I wrote on figment either added to an anthology or I will soon be making them into novellas or full novel/series they are part of my current open projects. I used to set dates of when I plan to release when I'd publish, but I irritated myself when I didn't release them at that time.  So now just set a rough idea goal of what book I want to be released next after the first one is published, but it can change depending how much of that book I got done and the order may change.

So I  deciding to give a sneak peek of next 4 upcoming projects in addition to Entrapment New Edition.

Fall Quarter: The Hit List!!

The Right. The Wrong. The Popular. The Art of Our Thoughts.

Hello Lovely People,

I hope you have a lovely day and enjoy the upcoming weekend. I have been working on completing the new edition of Entrapment as well as another old project made new more details on old new project coming soon.

Today I will be touching on a sensitive topic. The choices and decisions we make everyday.😊😌

The Right. The Wrong. The Popular. The Art of Our Thoughts.

So many times we waver in our choices.  Sometimes we waver because we care of what friends, family, or the world thinks. By doing so it affects the way we think and feel.  For along time I believed you should not care what anyone else thinks except what family thinks. Because of the results of recent events I took a look into my past how the decisions in the past I made came about. Some solely my choice and my mistakes to bare and I've learned from them,  but their are some choices that was influenced by people family in particular that they felt they knew what was best for me especially from elementary to high school years. I always thought something was off about that. As well meaning as some thought they are and still think they are they are not. Not really not in the ways that matter. 

Then I realized in the mist of all that I forgot to listen to my own voice over anything else. I have the power within me to make my life the way I want it to be. It is said the ones that love you the most will be the ones that hurt you the most. There is a kernel of falseness in that statement though. I can choose how I react to the negativity and why they try to discourage the path to me achieving my goals and dreams. I choose now and forevermore to trust myself and instincts and believe in my dreams no matter how things appear or what anyone says, or people trying to tell me how I should be or how I should be in my life.

So this past year of I've been on a journey of taking back my power and having unwavering faith no matter how many naysayers I come up against. In the 26 I have been on this earth people have tried to use my weaknesses, my dreams, and undermine my beliefs and try to manipulate me and using my kindness against me. I am glad that the situations I faced as a kid  and early 20's taught me how to read people very well otherwise I would always be easily fooled  by people. People  I don't trust or like enough I will not reveal what I am really thinking to them. It is why most of the time I choose to do what is right over what is popular. So people going after your dreams ignore the naysayers. If you believe & you know what's best  for you believe in your power that you can make it happen the rest will speak for it self.

The right and fair choice is always better than the popular or wrong choice. Everyone wants to be attentively loved and/or accepted, and many will undermine their own morality/ethics to make sure they get it or to have the feeling of it. I never really understood that. That may or may not be the reason why I keep my circle small. Your self worth will always be reflected in how you choose to be. I believe and respect and doing what is right above all else and Karma's a bitch and the people will that wronged me will get what's coming to them. 

I am also have a temper and low tolerance for two types of people the rude/disrespectful kind and people that belittle, bully, and  people that think they are higher than someone else because of there current title, status, race, or  amount of money they currently.have in life. You are no better than anyone or of more importance than the next person. When the title, status, race, money is stripped away what are you? Who are you? You are a human. You are not defined by title, status, race, or money. You are defined by the character and personality of your being. Our society today reflects prejudice, racism, judgmental assholes, and ignorance out of  fear and misunderstandings.

Why is that? It the result of the residual of the ethos, pathos, and logos of every human on this planet. It can be changed in the blink of our eyes if you change the way we use our thoughts, emotions, ethical reasoning of our being in a positive way. We the power in all of us to make the right choice. All decisions creates ripples. My lovely people, be the  love, joy, peace, and laughter you want to see in the world. Call me crazy all you want, but I never been crazy a day in my life. If that makes you sleep at night to think less of me or belittle that's your prerogative not mine. I will still be me.

Character Writing Tag!

Hello Lovely People,

I hope all is having a wonderful start to the weekend. I will do The Adventures of Editing Part 2 next Friday, but today I decided to the characters tag. I hope you enjoy it.

1. A crazy hacker’s gone into your computer, and has deleted all of your music, except for one song off of your writing playlist. Which song is it?

Well I haven't done playlist in a while thanks to a fellow writer Kim Chance, I listen to music scores now, but I did use to have one for Entrapment, so for that I would say 'Super Girl'  Krystal Harris or 'Get Up & Go' by Alana D. I know it said one I chose two.

2. Your protagonist and antagonist have been paired up by friends to go out to lunch together. Where do they go?

 The Sprincx (a restaurant near Avalon Academy)

3. You’re crossing a bridge when the troll living under it stops you. He demands to read a chapter from your novel, and won’t let you cross otherwise. Which chapter do you give him?

The Prologue or Chapter 19 I can't decide.

4. Your friends have invited you out to a party. Surprise! All of your characters are there. Who do you choose to hang out with? 

Jane because she loves books as much as I do, and she has become one of my favorite characters to write

5. Crap. You left your car keys in your house, and you’ve (somehow) locked yourself out. Which of your characters picks the lock for you?

Valhalla Preparatory School of course.

8. You meet your main character and start a conversation with them. Problem is, you’ve only got six words or less to do so. What do you say?

Yvonne most the only one that  can protect me from she is the water elemental after all.

The Summer Quarter Revealed!

Hello Lovely Beautiful People,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and you are having a great summer. I am so grateful for all the wonderful things that has happened this past year and all that I have accomplished by setting goals and achieving them. Alot took place I am surprised I accomplished so much actually, but somehow it got done. With school my situation  at home, looking for permanent work I am truly amazed grateful and I feel very blessed. I originally started setting up weekly goals, but I noticed that I wasn't getting much as I would like to done, and I came across Jenna Moreci (author of Eve The Awakening) vlogs. She has become one of my new favorite authors, anyways I liked her vlogs and subscribed to them. One vlog day she had quarterly goals I thought that was cool, and maybe I should try it, but I hesitated thinking that a 3 month goal system might make me lazy and prolong it, so I waited then the next quarterly recap to do it  or  the one after. When I finally did it the first quarter I completed a little less than half, but after that the more I kept doing them I was I noticed I was able to get more and more done. To take it a step further in my phone I have it set so that weekly I check my quarterly goals  to make sure I am staying on track. So it has worked really well for the most part. So Thanks & Shout Out To Jenna for sharing the Quarterly goal idea on her vlog. So now I have I have decided to implement them in my blogs as a post quarterly.

Mini Summary Recap of Spring Quarter

Finish finals, Check On Graduation Requirement, Graduate, Job Hunting, Apartment Hunting. complete Entrapment Extended Edition, Complete Eden's Journey, Complete Blind Knight Amarah Chronicles Prequel, Complete My Falling Stars,  Research Imprints, Hire someone to do logo for imprint or create my own, figure out ways to help indie authors and get us more exposure. It's Smiley Day!

Hey Lovely People,

I hope all is well today, I know it's been a horrific past few days. I pray change will come & peace, love, and happiness will reign and difference will not matter, so a year ago today. I self-proclaimed a year ago today (July 9, 2015) as Smiley Day a day in which before the clock strikes 12 midnight you smile all day make sure many people around smile, so it will light their day and I think in times like we have recently it is needed. I want to make it a National Holiday!

Independence Day! Author's Tag

Hello Lovely People,

Happy Soon To Be Independence Day! I hope everyone will enjoy their 4th of July and any other exciting plans they have this weekend. I been going through changes alot, and in a chaotic environment, but that is in the mist of changing. Thanks to Kim Chance, an author I admire I decided to participate in the author/writers tag and answer a few questions about myself that some people may have wanted to know.

What do you eat or drink while writing?

I would prefer to eat vanilla bean scones and a caramel frappe with chocolate drizzled on top from Starbucks. If I can't do that I would prefer green tea or any tea with Heath bar/Symphony bar (blue) or Whopper candy or just sparkling flavored water with the candy/Heath bar. On special occasions I will do Ferrero Rocher.

What do you listen to while writing?

I originally did songs that reflected the theme in the book. Thanks to Kim Chance for introducing the thought of film scores while writing. I love it they often help me through writer's block now.

What is your biggest distraction?

Probably the chaos that's going on around me until I move, which will be soon. My other distraction is my favorite tv shows like I recently did a Gilmore Girls marathon. Now I am doing this old cartoon I watched when I was a kid that I loved called Fillmore. I also surf the web, but its mostly for research purposes if its not  my favorite anime or manga.  Anime/Manga/Reading Books are great distractions when I have writer's block  though because it helps me  figure out where I went wrong and it's also fun.

Worst thing that has happened to you while writing?

When I did the complete story board & first scene in my first ever screenplay and lost the whole thing.  And another is I misplaced all the background information on my characters for Entrapment a while back scariest thing ever, but I eventually found it.

What is the best thing that ever happened to you while writing?

Writing Entrapment and starting my own literary imprint, LitArtistry Press and registering it which I will be giving more details about later.

Who do you communicate with while writing?

I do not communicate with anyone anymore during the writing process other than leaking excerpt of  chapters. I am an introvert so it a little difficult with groups of people, but I am good with one on one conversations, but I am slowly overcoming that.

What is your inspiration? What makes you productive?

I get inspiration from everywhere, but most when I am reading or checking out my favorite authors  and what they are up to, it motivates me to keep going and I remember why I wanted to be a writer. I think: I need to get busy. One way I  get productive is when I realize how much I have done and how much I want to complete. Another time is, I call it the Euphoria moment when ideas overflowing in my head I need to get them out before I loose them. Now I have a vault file for story ideas. Well I am thinking of setting up a reward for myself after draft is completed to motivate me even more. Reward: A pint of pistachio ice cream...lol Yum :-) it has become my new ultra favorite ice cream besides moo-llennium crunch, birthday cake, and bunny tracks ice cream.

What do you or other writers do that really annoy you?

I annoy myself when I overthink things and my perfectionist side comes in and/or self doubt kicks in. I am learning to master my thoughts though. I also annoy myself when I double post because some social media sites are interconnected I also hate that I am can get anxious at times, but I appreciate all my flaws. One thing that annoys me about what other writers do is that some are judgmental or overly critical when they are not perfect themselves, but other than that I love writers they are awesome!😉

Hello My Lovely People,

Good Afternoon, I hope all is well. I've been busy coming up with ways I can improve myself as a writer as well as treating writing as business since I want to do write books and screen plays long term. Surprises Are Coming! Surprises Are Coming!

Hello My Lovely People,

I hope all of you are having a lovely week! Sorry for the late Friday postings I've had a crazy few weeks, but things are getting back on track. As some of you may know who keep up with me on social media I have been busy.  I am currently work on three book projects. I am working on Eden's Journey, I am modifying anthology Rhythm of the Garden and changing the title to Keys of the Garden, and I am extending my book Entrapment with 7 brand new chapters. With that being said I am launching all of these under my  new literary imprint. More details on that will be revealed a later date. I have not forgotten about Morayne's Arrow or Pages of an Hourglass I will be working toward their completion after current works in progress are published. The Greatest Things In The World

Hello Beautiful People,

Good Afternoon, today is  a time in which we take time of remembrance to those who died in the armed forces. I would like to see today as a day of healing and thanks as well. I  appreciate the things that have been done for me the 26 years I have lived to see. So many times through out the week or day we complain and become unappreciative because things don't go our way or things just not going right in our lives that day or that week. We should remember to be thankful if we wake up to see, smell, touch, feel, taste, and breathe.

For every moment we  are are alive with healthy body and in our right frame of mind with all our senses in tact and functioning  that alone is something positive that we can appreciate out of each day, every week, every month, every year that  is not promised to any of us, but  is the greatest thing that we should always remember. Stife, un-forgiveness, jealousy, fear, regret, should not be welcomed in to the days you have.

Life is too precious.  I struggled with un-forgiveness for a longtime and sometimes still do. Then I remember that I still have life and though its not perfect or where I want to be I am alive, so I have another day to do what I love and go after my dreams. So healing, patience, thanks are top priorities in relation to my end goal. I think in times like these and on a regular bases healing, patience, and thanks should be practiced. Love the life you are given and strive for your best self in this life that is the legacy of those who died I feel want to leave behind in striving for our peace.'

Lock In! That Novel ~ Writing Plan!

I have you are staying  blessed and having a wonderful day. I have alot to catch up on since my computer screen is broken and temporarily using school computer. Which limits productivity since I am a commuter, but I will get every thing done, so while I am playing catch before spring break I am posting today instead of Friday! With that being said I hope this will help screen and story writers better plan out the novel or script.

3 Acts -15 Chapters * Can be  broken down  30 chapters  story or can be left as 15 chapter story. I use both depending on what I am looking for.

Accessorizing! Attributes Of The Characters! The Essentials!

Hey Lovely People,

I hope everyone is enjoying there Friday! Today's is for aspiring writers for books or screenplays! That need help with story and character development. I decided to give tips on writing that has helped me and that I have gathered for you!!😊😉

Above all else be creative!
 
     1. Setting & I.S. (Initial Scene) - Action!

• Where do your character(s) exist?
• Ex: My Story - Eden: character Eden Everson: was born in Crescent Hills, Skiania, Saletheia. Planet: Twilight Realm.

     2. Become the Reporter! Paparazzi! W.W.W.W.W. H. ( Who, What, When, Where, Why, & How)

• Schooling, Job, Purpose and Mini Bio. Biographies of your characters help you know your characters inside and out. Schooling and job can be included in this, but the purpose of the character depends on the grand scheme of the story. When you decide if you are writing a novella, novelette, novel, epic/ series. The purpose of each character can vary on which type of story or screenplay you are writing.

• Ex: Eden is Book 1 in  the Keepers of the Gates series. Each book will have a different main character. However the world is the same as well as some of the characters. It that a different part of the Salethia will be featured  and different country in the world will be the main setting. In EJ the MCs are Eden, Hanzi,Toph, Kai, Kat , and few Capitol characters. The minor characters are just important as major characters. whether its soldiers, royal guards, or rogue militia in the government planning a coup behind castle walls all are key to how your story will move forward. However, the main characters for each book in the series is a different gate keeper.

      3. Hero(s) & The Villain(s)

• Make sure that the hero is clearly distinguished from your villain(s). Give them attitudes, habits, mannerisms, give them  a profile. Hobbies, favorite food, interests, favorite hangouts in the world you created. Who are that characters allies and enemies? Give them a past a detailed background. (Mini biographies are imperative and beneficial)
• Supernatural/Fantasy/Paranormal Stories Only: Give your characters special abilities understand their abilities inside & out. Do some research for weapons, currency, and  supernatural creatures of the world you are creating.

• Ex: Book l Valhalla Legacy - Rise Of The Legacy all my main characters have profiles and mini bios. The villains that are crucial to driving the story have mini bios.
• Book 2 Valhalla Legacy - Trials Of The Legacy: villain character: Ezra Kingston aka Bren backstory will play a major role in book 2. (Spoiler Alert!)

4. Define The Goal:

What goal(s) is your hero trying to reach? What will  be the  pitfalls that tries to to stop him/her from reaching the goal/mission? 

Ex:

 Rise Of The Legacy: the hero(s) goal are to save the world and keep an apocalypse and time loop from coming by maintaining the harmony and balance of the world.

Eden: Eden has a choice to make about her own fate and protecting the peace and a friend while trying to find the culprits behind the attacks and the uprising across Saletheia that could lead to a world war.

***WD(weapons database) & Name/City Bank is useful &  knowing various currencies is useful and select the right ones for the world you are creating. I created my own and if I don't think the one's from my name bank will fit I choose from a character/world/currency name generators*** A really good one is the one below.

Rumor Mill On The Gossip Path To Bullying

Hello Gorgeous People,

I hope you are having a wonderful and beautiful day. I hope you are setting goals and going after them. Have faith and push forward with courage. I am going  to tackle sensitive and enlightening topics today. Rumors, Gossip, and Bullying.

I don't like bullying I was bullied alot in my past and sometimes now in adulthood. That may be the reason I hate rude disrespectful people.  It is the main reason I want to own my my own business so I can be my own boss. I will not tolerate bullying from employees on one another or disrespectful  rude in the office or toward me for that matter. This rule will be above all others in whatever business I decide to open. I was even bullied by people who I thought were my friends that's why I don't trust people worth a grain of salt and these days you can't afford to trust anyone completely. I fought every year up to seventh grade and I made a promise to myself I will not fight or result to violence unless absolutely necessary. I will use words to solve my battles. So,  far I haven't  had to use violence except once or twice since then and I am 26 years old. Increasing your wisdom will take you farther than becoming a victim or spreading rumors/gossips.

One thing it did help me with is book writing and becoming a stronger person. I had false rumors spread about me because they were either jealous or just didn't like me, or whatever reason I cannot think of. People that are being bullied ignore the bullies every misguided wrong that is turned toward you there is a thousand more turned toward them they are just using misdirection, so eyes will be on you instead of them. Remember the problem is not with you it's with them.

Victims: Ignore the false rumors you know who you are and what kind of person you are. Bullies tend to  do things because they can't tackle their own inner turmoils so they attack someone they believe to be weaker than them. They fear you because you choose to be ok with who you are; flaws and all and some people cannot handle that. For them it is to easier be a follower or dominate others. You have the power within you to be brave in the face of adversity and move forward with courage you are stronger than you know the moment   you realize that everything changes.  When you give in and believe someone else's false thoughts of you is when you become what they say you are. Don't believe in anything they say believe what you know you are and the person you want to be. Love and treasure yourself because no one else will.

Bullies: Being a bully will not solve your problems. Find the cause of the real reason you are angry, bitter, jealous, fearful, or feel the need to dominate others.  There is anger behind the anger that's on the surface. You shouldn't be happy by making others feel less than you or hurting other people. These are just symptoms of the real problem. Once you find the cause that will be the first step in a positive direction for your life because new peaceful solutions will begin to open up to you, so you want spread your negativity to others. You have the power within you to transform your being into a decent humble human being. You just have be willing to change and take the first step in a positive direction and once you find the source of your anger tell them the best way you know how. You will begin to see better path than the one you have lead up until now.

What are the views on teens having sex? Do you feel sex is a big deal? Why or Why Not? Tell Me Your Thought  On A Much Talked About Topic....


Hmmm.....well let's see were do I began with such a loaded topic. The traditional  side of me feels that an individual shouldn't have sex before marriage weather they are teenager or not. The reason I say this  is because sex is a very intimate thing and shouldn't be done lightly. It was originally created for to show love between husband and wife(soul mates) in this life and reproduction to bring forth the next generation, train  them  good productive citizen of  society living out there purpose and having a life full of happiness and have the wisdom that is passed down generation to generation. Sex is one the many pleasures in life that can have very bad  consequences.  For example,  unprotected sex can lead to STDs, pregnancy, emotional instability, emotional intent behind it. However if you're going to do it  anyway think before you act is the motto for this post.

 Young Ladies:

 * There is not wrong with having a baby, but if you cannot take care of the baby  and you know their is a possibility that the father will not stay in the picture to help raise it and/ or you cannot raise it yourself  or that you may have to give up the baby for adoption then  you should not be laying down with a man with the intent to have a baby or with the full knowledge knowing very well that coming up pregnant is a possibility. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT!  If you think that laying down with the guy will make him love you it will not.  If he didn't love you before he will not love you after. If you think that having a baby you will get the love you want and need. Yes you  will bring a human being in this world that will love you, but love comes from within love yourself first. The Creator will always love you. Know that you are a person worthy of love and the Heavenly Father created you will love and purpose in mind. Condoms are not 100% & neither is birth control safe sex is no sex at least until you are absolutely sure and no that your partner has no STDs/AIDS and will only be committed to you and if he will not you are stable enough to take care of a child own your on and you have not caught anything from him. Don't go around sleeping with guys to find love you will not find it there. Don't act on a 'feeling' decisions that is irreversible and doesn't could turn your life upside down. Educate your self in the decision before making it because the consequences effect your life and others. Love yourself first.

Young Men:

*THINK BEFORE YOU ACT.  If you will not willing to commit to the woman/ young lady don't have sex with her. If you cannot be head of house hold and/or equally stable with the intent you plan to sleep with her, do not have sex with her. If you know a woman is sleeping around yet you wanna shot at her to so you can be cool with the rest of fellas. Answer me this do you want to catch something from her. Are you responsible and stable enough on your own  to have a child?  Can you afford child support if you don't want to stay with her and end up being required of you? Is your ego boost worth that much to you? What does sex mean to you? How do you really feel? Are you willing to make  a 'gamble' that may deal you a new set of  cards from the deck of life. Don't Roll The Dice If You Can't Play! Don't act on a 'feelings'/urges which leads to decisions that are irreversible and  could turn your life upside down. Educate your self in the decision before making it because the consequences effect your life and others. Love yourself first.

Sex is not a game, but in today's society it treated as such. Be prepared for life altering consequence. Read the fine print and the instruction manual carefully.
